Verified registered migration agents
In Australia, only registered migration agents and Australian legal practitioners can give immigration assistance for a fee. Every registered agent has a MARN (Migration Agents Registration Number) on the public OMARA register. Visa Pilot only refers people to registered migration agents.
How we verify agents
MARN checked against the OMARA register
When an agent applies to join, we check their MARN against the public OMARA register before anything else happens.
Approved by a person, not a form
Each application is reviewed and approved by hand. Agents receive no referrals until their profile is activated.
Check the current status yourself
Registration is renewed every year. The date on a badge shows when we checked it — you can always confirm an agent's current registration on the OMARA register.
What the badge means
An agent showing the Visa Pilot badge on their website is an active member of our referral network. Visa Pilot is not a directory: people tell us about their situation, and we introduce them to a small number of registered migration agents close to them who handle their kind of case. The badge is not an endorsement by the OMARA or the Department of Home Affairs.
